The Sierra Nevada Celtic Society (SNCS) is a Reno, Nevada based organization to foster interest in Celtic history, food, culture and the countries that are closely associated with the Celts. The recognized Celtic countries are Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Man, Cornwall, Brittany and Galacia.

SNCS encompasses members from the Sierra Nevada mountain region of California and Nevada.   Celtic heritage is not a requirement to membership in SNCS.  Anyone with an interest in the Celtic culture is welcome to join.

SNCS is a nonsectarian, nonpolitical, and nonprofit organization.

Please check out our event calendar to see what activities are coming up in the next few months.  SNCS tries to have at least one activity each month.

Niamh Parsons and Graham Dunne will be performing at The Studio on 4th Street on July 26, a Sunday.  There will also be an workshop before the concert.  Tickets are only $10 for each event.  Go here for the flyer.
